Pennies, nickels, and dimes, all making a clanking sound in the kettle. It’s a familiar sound this time of year. And if you’ve ever stopped by Schnucks when Grace Church parishioners were ringing the little red bells, you knew we were helping make a difference in someone’s life. The Salvation Army has indicated there's a growing need for their services in our community. The money you and others donate in the red kettles will go a long way in helping people who have never personally experienced homelessness or poverty until the continuing economic downturn.
Please volunteer to be a bell ringer at Schnucks on Missouri Boulevard on Saturday, December 10. One hour shifts begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. A signup sheet is on the bulletin board next to the poinsettia signup sheet.
