In the tenth century a legend began to spread that on the night Christ was born all the trees in the forest, even those in the cold and ice and snow, bloomed and bore fruit.  The tree today has become a symbol of Christ as the Tree of Life, offering His Light, Life, and Wisdom.  The trees at Grace Church for Christmas are a continuation of this ancient legend as well as a continuation of a Grace tradition of trees, candles, evergreen roping, and flowers.

      There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those anxiously awaiting the opportunity to buy poinsettia plants.  The cost is ^$15 each.  If you are interested in assisting financially with the church decorations, contact the church office.
