A little dinner music

More than 80 Grace parishioners attended the celebration dinner sponsored by the Stewardship Team, enjoying focaccio, pasta and some delectable desserts.  The dinner was a celebration of our first Time & Talent pledge drive, which was recently completed.  In keeping with the theme of the celebration, guest speakers, Marilyn and Jim Hofmann, spoke enthusiastically about their personal experiences in volunteering their time and talent to various community ministry projects, most notably Jim’s leadership in River City Habitat for Humanity and Marilyn’s in education efforts targeting young at-risk children.  Live music was provided at throughout the evening by Gary Harbison on acoustic 6- and 12-string guitar, accompanied at times by Will Harbison on drums and Marshall Crossnoe on guitar.  Hearty thanks to all who helped make the event a success, setting up, decorating, cooking, serving and cleaning up.  With such a wonderful response, those unable to attend can look forward to a reprise of the event next year.  Click here for more photos
