2009 Mission Trip for High Schoolers

Heifer International Ranch

Next summer the older youth will have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Action program at the Heifer International Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas.  The week will include interactive learning, community building activities and service projects.  The group will explore issues related to ending hunger and poverty while caring for the earth.  Work projects may include gardening, composting, working with livestock, and other Ranch chores.

The youth group will be undertaking a number of fundraisers throughout the year both at Grace and in the larger community.  All youth – whether going on the mission trip or not – are encouraged to support and participate in these events.
