Families with Young Children

Advent events a success. by Bridgid Stier

On December 4, the children came together (with much enthusiasm!) to serve treats during Coffee Hour.  Afterward the children gathered together with Shariya to hear the story of the Holy Family and to discuss this time of waiting and preparation for the birth of Jesus Christ.  Our fellowship continued with a light lunch and was concluded with ornament-making for the Grace Church Christmas tree.

A heartfelt thanks goes to Shariya for sharing her time and wisdom, to all the parents who donated baked goods for Coffee Hour, and to the children, equipped with lots of smiles and energy, who were eager to help with both serving and cleanup.

As with the Christmas season, may you and your families find joy and peace in 2012.
